TEAM EXPERTISE & TECHNOLOGIES
The Assay Development and Screening team supports early-stage drug discovery by designing and executing robust, high-throughput assays. We screen novel targets against diverse compound libraries, identify and validate hits using orthogonal biochemical approaches, and collaborate closely with our medicinal chemists to refine active compounds. Validated hits are advanced into cell-based assays to investigate their mechanism of action, in partnership with teams across the ODDI.
TEAM FOCUS
- High-throughput, high-quality assay development to support early-stage drug discovery
- Expertise in biochemical and biophysical, and phenotypic assay platforms
- Identification and validation of novel hits across a broad range of targets
- Focus on robust, reproducible workflows tailored for screening and hit selection
- We screen a diverse and focused collection of libraries of around 250K compounds
