Theodosios Kyriakou
Senior Programme Manager
Theodosios Kyriakou is a Senior Programme Manager and Translational Scientist in the Centre for Medicines Discovery. He has a background in Genomics and Molecular Genetics and extensive experience in research of complex diseases. He has received his PhD from the University of Warwick after graduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Glasgow. His research interests focused on functional investigation of genes associated with cardiovascular disease and while at the Oxford Genomics Centre was the lead project manager for long range sequencing.
Theodosios joined the BRC team in 2024 as a Translational Scientist and Senior Programme Manager and is currently working on a range of projects developing novel drug targets in a variety of therapeutic areas with a primary focus on rare diseases. Theo is also a Senior lecturer at Keble College teaching Genetics to undergraduates studying Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
