From Monday September 9th to Thursday September 19th the Centre for Medicines Discovery (CMD), University of Oxford, will welcome 20 students from Kind Abdulaziz University for an immersive 2-week course of seminars and workshops. The content of the course will cover a wide range of topics related to the work of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Precision Medicine (CAIPM), which is a collaborative research Centre co-founded by the University of Oxford and King Abdulaziz University.
Seminars
Dr Rami Mosaoa, the education lead from the KAU management team, organises a monthly seminar on behalf of CAIPM. Speakers and dates are usually confirmed within 2 weeks of the seminar itself. Invited speakers, who are experts on topics relevant to the Centre, come from both from within the CAIPM, Oxford and KAU, as well as other academic institutions, industry and patient charities. Seminars are hosted via Zoom webinar and consist of a 45 minute talk with slides, followed by a 15 min Q&A session which researchers are encouraged to actively participate in.
