The Discovery Proteomics (DisPro) is a Small Research Facility (SRF) at the Target Discovery Institute (TDI) and Centre for Medicine Discovery (CMD), within the Nuffield Department of Medicine. The DisPro is one of the leading laboratories for proteomics in the UK and Europe. It is equipped with state-of-the-art mass spectrometers. We collaborate with researchers in multiple disciplines, from academia and non-academic settings, in the UK and world-wide, covering basic, clinical and applied research. Our focus is on bottom-up proteomics

LC-MS/MS platforms

Dispro has a versatile LC-MS/MS platform that allows to cover a quite wide range of proteomics applications from low- to high-throughput. This includes:

  • Ultima 3000 HPLC + QExactive MS (Thermo)
  • Vanquish Neo UHPLC system +  Orbitrap Ascend Tribrid MS(Thermo)
  • Evosep One + timsTOFPro MS (Bruker)
  • Evosep One + Orbitrap Astral MS (Thermo; available from end of 2024)
